Proposal

This post is meant to demonstrate my ability to analyze a landscape, then come up with ways to improve it.

Analyzing avalible landscape to work with.
Noting plants already part of the landscape.

Bailee, I hope this is what you needed to see in order for me to be selected as your new employee. Please continue scrolling down to check out my other creative projects.

My Personality

I have taken the Myers-Briggs test multiple times in my life and always come up with ENFP (aka The Campaigner). I think this type does an accurate job at describing me. When I asked ChatGPT to give me a short and sweet description of ENFP, this is what comes up…

“ENFPs are known for their warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm. They genuinely connect with others, inspire with their imaginative ideas, and bring a refreshing spontaneity to every situation.”

Yes, I do pay the monthly fee for ChatGPT Premium, and I put it to work for sure: everything from personal life, to construction, to work help, ect. Here is what Chat says when I asked it about who I am based on previous conversations:

“Based on our exchanges, you come across as someone who values authenticity and self-awareness, with a natural curiosity about personality and what makes people tick. You seem to appreciate concise, meaningful insights that bring clarity to complex ideas, and your interest in ENFP traits suggests you gravitate toward warmth, creativity, and spontaneity—not only in others but perhaps in your own approach to life as well. This focus on understanding and highlighting the positive qualities in people indicates that you likely prioritize empathy and thoughtful connection in your relationships, all while maintaining a clear, direct communication style.”

I hope that as I move forward in life, I continue to become more of who I naturally am, all while helping others do the same.

YAY! A class I enjoyed

I’m happy to say that I have found a calling in Mechanical Engineering. I will share a video of a project I recently completed. The goal was to flip a soda can over completely (and some other constraints). I am proud to say that my project ended up tying for fastest flip, down to the 0.01 second. I am also proud that I took a purely mechanical approach and stayed away from servos (not that I couldn’t do them, I just wanted it to be this way). I took a lot of time in the beginning just thinking about how I was going to accomplish the task and even more time designing the thing in SolidWorks. I really do love using that program especially because I am very fond of geometry. Please enjoy the video of one of my most proud creations.

It shows my ability to use SolidWorks, 3D Printing and laser cutting tech. I also used calculus to obtain the proper curve for the guiding brace. #proudOfMyself

Finally, an update worth while

At the beginning of last year (Jan 2023) I decided to apply for a job at the university in the Fablab, specifically the sewing and embroidery department. I tackled this area being the only one dedicated to the area. I improved inventory organization and workflow to the area. I have enjoyed it very much and I gained a promotion to Lead at the end of the 2023 summer. Now I over see the operations of 4 other student employees and help them in improving the area and helping others create projects.

I will include some of my best sewing, embroidery and heat press projects projects. I believe they show my fine attention to precision, accuracy and attention to detail as well as the big picture.

The Journey Begins

It’s true really. I love to dress up, put on a show, and get in front of the camera. But there has got to be more.

“You used to change your ‘outfits’ – as you’d call them – about 5 times a day”

Ad campaign for my business of Solar Powered Lawn Care – Sun Done a Ton LLC. Ended up selling what I had built up. Good decision.
